They could live with Shaw growing pain with the bat if they were getting better production out of Swanson and the Catcher spot like they were early in season, but having multiple guys struggling at bottom of order just magnifies the rookie struggle more then usual.

He hasn't sucked and is holding his own, that all you can ask for.

It will kinda suck if they let him go when Amaya returns unless they decide to keep 3 catchers and place Turner on a long IL stint til like September 1st when rosters expand.

its hilarious that the Catcher position for the Cubs has like an .850 OPS on the season and Third has a collective OPS of like .590
