What news is everyone thinking they're seeing here?  He got put on the 15 day IL because they wanted another arm available tonight and we don't know anything other than he has a hamstring strain.  Has anyone seen anything from the scan he was getting today?

Yeah i havent seen anything, just that they are waiting on imaging. He could be out longer, they have a free bullpen arm up in Hallowell until Shotas next start on Saturday/Sunday

One win? I hope you are right.  The guy was dealing.

They’re mythical wins, not real ones.

I am also confused about what some are calling good news. It is standard to put a pitcher in the 15 day IL when he gets hurt. Doesn’t mean he is back in 15 days. Just means he isn’t in the 60 day, which would have been very bad news. This is just standard procedure. If we are lucky he will be back the first week in June. I don’t expect earlier.

Did everyone see this?

Maybe a nothing burger but wouldn’t it be great if they signed both PCA and KT in season??!!

Tucker open to talks in season?

A lot of comments regarding Tucker being willing to talk during the season. Might be a nothing burger, but when it is brought up often and my different people, that is encouraging. Hopefully they can get both Tucker and PCA signed. That would definitely chance the opinion of the ownership of this team.

Agreed here. This means nothing.  Just going based off what I saw with Shota and having a ton of experience with hamstring injuries, I would be very surprised if he pitches again this month.

They need to be very careful with the hamstring. Don’t want him favoring it and hurting something else. I agree if they think he is fine after 3 weeks they should give him another week.!just be very careful with it. They should be ok without him for a month.

But would you pay 30m for a 3 WAR position player?  And ones who are prone to injury including surgeries where you're out 1-2 years.

Found Jerry Rhinesdorf!

GG Ian Happ ladies and gentlemen. If that got passed him, it’s 1-0 Giants.

That was really sucky. And undeserved, Boyd has been excellent.

Blame me, I was talking to friend on phone and had just said Boyd looking like an Ace tonight and then boom..
