I know his one HR was a down-the-pull-line one.  Does he use the pull side much, or is he predominantly an opposite-field guy?

League average is about 40-35-25 pull-middle-oppo, and he was 40-26-34 last year.  So a little oppo heavy.  This year early on he's pulling everything, 68% coming into today.

Solid game for Armstrong, 6K/1BB in 5, took only 64 pitches, he throws a lot of strikes.

Does Flexen have any stuff?  had 3.61 and 3.76 ERA's as regular starter for seattle back in 21-22, so he wasn't terrible.  Is he just a junk stuff guy?  Or does he have legit big-league stuff, maybe?

Cristian Hernandez has a 17% groundball rate right now which is ludicrous.   Even in small samples I never really see it drop below 20 for a player.

He's also rocking a fantastic 17.5% strikeout rate.  Though his contact numbers make it seem pretty likely that bumps up with more sample size.

God he would do so much for star potential which the farm really lacks at the moment. Lots of guys who project to be big leaguers and guys who project to be above average regulars, but not so much for guys who could be perennial all star types.

Cubs haven't ever produced that.
