friendly reminder that two of the best coaches in the sport who both played quarterback for the bears (one is from naperville ffs) were available in the last two offseasons and we didn't interview either of them

Harbaugh was too unstable or something

We always make the wrong decision. We are so hopelessly incompetent, it’s insane.

You have to fire everyone. It really pains me to say it, because I really thought we found a good GM, but Ryan Poles ain't it.

This offensive line should get him fired alone, never mind the fact that he not only hired Eberflus, but he elected to keep him around when other great options were available.

This coaching staff sucks and that is just as much Poles fault.

The absolute only thing you can hope for this season is that they didn't completely ruin Caleb Williams, but let's be honest, they probably did. The kids accuracy is terrible he's already seeing ghosts.

that giants first half was probably the maddest i've ever been for a regular season game lol

That game, and Fields first start against the browns are some of the worst football I've ever seen in my life.

Until the Bears get new ownership, expect more of the same. This is the ownership that bought a perfectly fine spot to build and own a stadium, then hired a President who wants to keep the stadium on the lakefront.

The funny thing is, this is probably a game that most fanbases would remember 20 years from now as the worst game they’ve ever seen their team play. I’m not sure this is even in the top 10 worst Bears performances that I’ve seen in my life.

It’s one thing to not want to fire a coach during the season, but it’s another to not fire him when he is putting the only thing you might have going for you long-term in harm’s way in garbage time 2 weeks in a row

I really didn’t think there was any chance that Eberflus got fired with a loss. And he still probably won’t. But that was about as bad as you could possibly play at home against a bottom 5 time. If he was trying to convince his bosses that he shouldn’t be fired, he did a very very very poor job of it.

No chance, especially with the remaining schedule. After the Packers give the Bears a shellacking next week, he’ll be fired.

You think Flus will be fired mid-season? Correct me if I’m wrong but the Bears have never done that.

Do we know if Virginia's kids want to keep the team after she dies? Or are we buried in 3 more generations of McCaskey ownership?

I swear I remember hearing something about them being forced to sell for financial reasons when she dies but I could be wrong.

I would think they are absolutely keeping the team. Why would they sell?  The Bears are all they have as a family and they have become billionaires due to their ownership. If they sold the Bears the entire family would be wandering aimlessly through life because they have literally no other reason to exist.

If there was a statistic for the number of times a QB faces a free runner, I'd have to think the Bears would be far and away leading in that category.    Game after game, no matter who they're playing, free runners make their way to Caleb. I've honestly yet to see a team, regardless of their OL configuration, miss so many blocks.

They haven’t, but this is the year!

They can buy the White Sox from Reinsdorf

They've made all sorts of bad history in just the last couple of games alone. Might as well make a little more.
