(it's my goal for my profile to say that my most active topic is 'Adam Dunn').

You have got to be close to acheiving this goal. You had 780 in General Chitchat. How many do you have in this thread. I'm too lazy to count.

Considering this topic has less than 300 posts overall, I'd say I'm not even close.

RANDOM ADAM DUNN MAN LOVE POST!

From yesterday's Dayton Daily News, here's Adam Dunn's thoughts on Wrigley and the Cubs.

Dunn loves Wrigley

Adam Dunn loves hitting at Wrigley Field and his numbers reflect that, but even he was surprised at the magnitude. Since Dunn made the majors in 2001, no visiting player has wrecked the joint the way Dunn has.

He leads all Wrigley opponents in homers (13), RBIs (33), batting average (.328), hits (41), runs (27) and slugging percentage (.733).

"Really? I did not know that," Dunn said. "I love it here, love to hit here. I don't know what it is, maybe the atmosphere with the fans. Every game is like Game 7 of the World Series. And with that pitching staff the Cubs have, it surprises me I've done so well. Weird. But I'll take it."

Dunn has a theory about why they are The Collapsible Cubs.

"Every year they fold at the end, every year," he said. "Why? I believe they get tired. It's all those day games they have to play. It's like spring training. Players like to sleep in, but they can't do it here. That takes its toll."

so wise. cubs better get more night games if da dunn wants to come over here.

HERE'S HOW ADAM RANKS IN THE NATIONAL LEAGUE IN CERTAIN OFFENSIVE CATEGORIES!

1st in SECA! (by a huge margin!)

1st in ISOP!

1st in strikeouts!

4th in RC27!

3rd in walks!

3rd in extra-base hits!

2nd in P/PA!

5th in OPS!

6th in SLG!

11th in OBP!

63rd in BA!

3rd in HR!

4th in runs!

8th in RBI!

all hail adam dunn

Can we use this thread to make up ficticious and absurd trade proposals for Adam Dunn? If so, I'd like to start:

Sergio Mitre and Wellemeyer for Dunn and PTBNL.

Seriously, the Reds need pitching n stuff.

Is this thread really about let's see which player with the lowest batting avg. and highest Ks who is the most valuable?

i'm pretty sure 8 pages of this thread is devoted to that so plz don't enter my thread with that garbage

I'd just like to congratulate the Donkey on reaching the 40 home run plateau. If it had to come against the Cards so be it, I'm just glad he got it dunn. Also props for the stellar ops once again. Here's to people continually devalueing him so there's more room on the bandwagon.

dunn strikes out too much. he doesn't bunt enough and forget about sac flies.

i doubt he's very good at clutch hitting or leprechaun-catching either.

He's no Carlos Beltran, that's for sure.

Carlos Beltran isn't Carlos Beltran.

Wow, that's Dusty-like.

The Cubs were also 16-13 in Sept/Oct this year. And 17-13 last year. And 19-8 the year before.
