Mastrobuoni adding tons of value out there🙄

Scorer has been really generous with him today and yesterday. Should have 2 errors imo

I never really liked Beth Mowen, but what happened to her?  I would take her over Zaidman anyday.  Surely there are countless better options available?

Guessing Mowins has ESPN obligations that supersede, she does softball and that NCAA tourney started this weekend.

Agreed. Zach Zaidman should never be the lead PBP person of anything.  Marquee talks all this game about being like a national TV broadcast but have nothing better to offer us than Zaidman?

Also I like Mowen in general.  She'd be the perfect "backup" PBP person when Boog is out.

This middle infield reminds me way too much of the Paul Noce / Mike Brumley combo the year that both Sandberg and Dunston were injured.

Ugh, that is bleak.  I would take Jose Nieves and Chad Meyers over this infield any day.

Every day they tell us Hoerner should be back tomorrow 😅

With the off day tomorrow, Tuesday's game will be day 8 of an alternate reality where Nico went on the IL right away.  I get that hamstring injuries can be difficult to project though...just frustrating.

I count 3.  2 yesterday and then this one. Maybe this one McCuthen beats it out. Was t hit hard. But yesterday he misplayed 2 balls.

At least he has more enthusiasm in his voice then Boog when something good happens for the Cubs ..

Boog acts like it just interrupted him from talking about something dumb 😅

Very frustrating. But if he comes back Tuesday it makes sense to not have put him on the IL.

I forgot about the other one, yeah that’s 3 total misplays. Bumped up pitch counts unnecessarily

I’ll probably horsefeathers myself from excitement if this lineup scores 3 runs two days in a row.

I wouldn't worry about having to do that anytime soon.

Yeah, this is damn brutal to watch. Need Swanson and Hoerner back in the lineup soon, and that wouldn’t even be enough.

They scored 3+ in three straight and 6 of 8 before yesterday.

Weird how it hasn’t seemed like it.
