Wisdom looking like he's ready to join the team in Seattle Friday, 2 more hits and a HR today.

Question is who gets booted ?

Cooper, Mastrobuoni,  or Madrigal

My guess Cooper

Wisdom still has options. They may keep him in Triple-A. Cooper has played well and they'd likely lose him.

I'm pretty excited about the Cubs starting pitching outlook for the next couple seasons.

Imanaga,  Steele,  Wicks, Brown,  Assad, Horton etc.,

Nico is definitely going through something. He can glove his way to a 3 WAR and I think there’s built in improvement to offset his struggles elsewhere, but the approach has been real weird.

Why does Nico look like he is swinging out of his shoes every at bat?

He and Gomes gotta start getting it going

Looks like he is trying to see more pitches and be more discerning. That could be affecting his timing.

We are not touching Musgrove's curve. He's just dropping it wherever he wants.

At the risk of jinxing things, this is pretty clutch from brown. Definitely still some work to do, but there was a pretty significant ‘blow up in the first two innings’ risk here that he was able to avoid

Ben Brown reminds me of the kid pitcher from Dazed and Confused. Not just the long hair but the lanky, lazy body language.  He almost seems like he'd rather be somewhere else.

Didn’t know how far that had traveled off the bat as I have a feed here that doesn’t have sound. It’s the most stable one I’ve found so I am stuck with it now lol.

Yeah I was a little disappointed at that 2-0 swing by seiya on the curveball in the dirt but it’s obvious he’s pretty locked in. Those two aren’t quite as dynamic as Cain/yelich back in the day, but they are going to consistently wear down opposing pitchers.
