Such a shame man, I really thought the Cubs had something there, he looked great in 2022.

What was he throwing when he was “good”? I don’t remember him to be a high velo guy. 94-95 maybe? First game of the year I imagine he could do better than that. But, personally, even at 94 I feel he is cooked anyway. He would be who I took off the 40 man next time they have to take someone off. And I wouldn’t give it a second thought after doing it.

Keegan has sat at 94 or just under it for all his MLB seasons.

Ok, so 91-92 first time out could be 94 in a few weeks. That said, I still see him as man #40 in the roster. No issues if they have to let him go.

Wait, when did they move Caissie to AAA? I thought they had Roderer there instead of him and he was starting at AA again?

The thing is, he was often low 90s in the minors (as a starter, admittedly) before his uptick at the alternate site in 2020. It’s not shocking his stuff regressed again, even if he’s relieving.
