Oh well, it's just a bad night and those happen.  Maybe Taillon finds the magic again tomorrow, or the Cubs offense shows up and overcomes his inevitable blow-up.  The Cubs are going to lose plenty more games this year, and this was one of them.

Assad definitely was lucky, they were squaring him up all night. Really unimpressed with Thompson and Wesneski, bet those are the guys going down when the other relievers at AAA are ready.

Why do they look so unprepared against awful pitchers sometimes. Can't keep having these clunkers. Terrible approaches at the plate tonight from several hitters; too passive and consistently in the hole as a result.
