Greene's other 2 Iowa outings:

8/6: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0/1 K/BB

8/9: 3 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 3/0 K/BB

Given the amount of rest he's getting in between outings I'm not sure how imminent he might be to a callup unless they want him to be a long reliever/piggyback starter(which he hasn't done in 7+ years), but interesting especially as a September option with expanded rosters.

Derniche gets BABIP up over .400.

Kinda crazy to whiff 47% of his AB, yet BABIP that high.  To K half he AB's, he must be swinging-and-missing-altogether on a lot of pitches.  Usually a guy who misses completely on so many pitches, you'd think he'd miss partially on a lot of others, and get a lot of weak contact top-side or bottom-side on swings that don't totally miss.  Yet the HR's and BABIP suggest that he does hit the ball square pretty often on his non-K AB's.  Weird.  Not sure how sustainable, but he's a funky case.

do they have EV data? Either way, it is not sustainable in any other league.

Don't know if this is on my end, but I've noticed the last couple days that the Iowa game is showing up as a different font on my end. I have it on dark mode and it's basically showing up in black font (and so I can only read it by highlighting it). Not at all a big deal, just thought you were forgetting to include that game lately and figured it out just now.

I copy and paste from the previous day's post so if something funky happened a few days ago, I've been copying it over every day. I'll type from scratch for tomorrow's thread and hopefully that gets rid of any issues you're seeing.

It was ruled an unearned run but Nwogu made another error during a Horton start that cost Horton a run.

2 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 3 K

Horton’s own errant pickoff leads to a second unearned run: 3 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 6 K

Ferris: 3 IP, 1 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 K

Both got through 5!

Horton: 5 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 7 K, 71 pitches

Ferris: 5 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 6 K, 73 pitches

Believe that’s a career high in innings and pitches for Jackson.

Great night for 2 of our best pitching prospects. I’m pumped about both of these guys.

Missed this last night but Rojas went 2/4 with a double and homer. OPS up to .768.

I'm really looking forward to him playing at South Bend next year as a 19 year old.
