While this team has been holding it together very nicely lately, they need Eddy bigtime. Deng is somewhat dispensable, but without Eddy, this team will have a hard time advancing past the first round.

I'm growing more and more concerned about Eddy as time goes on. The fact that they don't have a clear answer or at least haven't given any sort of indication is very worrisome. And all this stuff about arrythmias not usually being serious is nonsense. In an older person, maybe. But in a 22 yr old athlete where it causes light-headedness, I don't think so. I hope he's going to be okay.

Poor Scott:

ChicagoSports.com[/url]"]Following the Bulls' overtime loss to Detroit, Monday night got even more painful for Scott Skiles.

The Bulls' coach needed stitches to close a gash in his head when Chris Duhon accidentally hit him with a door as Duhon exited the locker room.

The unfortunate timing left Skiles doubled over in pain, holding a towel to his head as blood flowed from the wound. Skiles was walking from his office to the assistant coaches' office just outside the Bulls' locker room when Duhon pushed the door open.

We showed we could handle them over the course of a game, and all season long, we've played them tough. This team just has so much heart to it and even shooting like pure garbage last night, the defense kept them in that game.

They should handle the Millers in the first round, sending him into an unillustrious retirement.

Nocioni has been suspsended one game for an elbow and will miss Wednesday night's nationally televised game:

ChicagoSports.com

if its for the elbow to Prinz, absolutely absurd. as about incidental of contact as it comes. barely even grazed him.

and Larry Brown was really treading water in terms of respectability after the game in Detroit earlier this year where the Pistons got call after call after call in their favor, yet Brown proceeded to berate the ref for 5 minutes after the game. now he calls Nocioni a dirty player because of this? don't like the taste of your own medicine there do you Lar. if Noch was being dirty, Prinz would have a busted cheek bone right now.

Brown is just angry that Nocioni and Argentina actually played basketball, not streetball, in the olympics. Brown tried to blame everyone but himself for the olympic loss. The guy is a classless moron.

Brown has Argentinian Carlos Delfino on his roster. I hardly think your analysis is correct.

Still embarrassing. They had the deficit down to 7 shortly before the end of the first half but managed to let that slip to 14 at the break. They're down 21 after 3.

Hopefully Chandler won't get a suspension. It looked to me like a phantom kick. Real bad judgement by Tyson, though. The inside game on both sides has been brutal tonight.

This is downright embarrassing.

No Curry, Deng and Noch. About what I expected even before Tyson got the boot.

It's the turnovers that really get to me, though, especially with the defense in the first half. They've been pushing everything from the get go and haven't been able to set up very much.

I don't recall who went down, but Tyson "stomp kicked" the guy in the stomach/groin area. I don't think any contact was made because there was no reaction to the kick from him, but the ref tossed him immediately.

The missed layups have also really been frustrating.

Huge 4-point swing right there. That'll probably do it.

How many has Griffin missed? I lost count at 3. He's just not very good.

I stopped taking math at Calculus. We'll have to call up the same guy (or team) at NASA who calculated Barney's bar tab. The blocked shots, too. Man.
