Ugh....my wife and I finally left Sprint/TMobile a few months ago.  We were longtime Sprint customers and when they finally forced us to switch to the TMobile network we found that we had absolutely no service inside and around our house.  Even with a wireless extender it didn't help.  I tried to convince my wife to stay specifically for MLB.TV but at the end of the day we had to make the switch.  Really enjoyed having it the last 2 years!

Edit:  Ummm..... I just tried it anyway, and it said it was successful, so maybe I got lucky?  I still haven't returned the wireless extender so maybe it till sees me as an active customer!?

Not sure if the free MLB.tv benefit is a big driver for anyone using T-Mobile, but they announced they're going to offer it through at least 2028: https://www.theverge.com/2023/4/6/23672572/t-mobile-mlb-tv-free-2028

This is great news, it's pretty much the only thing keeping me on T-Mo anymore. My wife's firm pays our cell phone bill so I'm actually making money with free MLB.tv every year but would prefer moving to a service with better coverage in rural Wisconsin.

T-Mobile comes with free Netflix, Apple TV, and Hulu, and you can add D+ for $2 a month. The benefits they provide are awasome.

Tell me more about the Netflix, Apple TV, and Hulu part, please

All free, ad-versions. I literally see 2 or 3 :15-30 ads maybe once an hour, on NF. I can't use Apple TV and I haven't been watching anything on Hulu yet but we watch NF and D+ all the time.

Yeah it was insane.  I didn't realize that in the year 2023 in a densely population area you could have that much trouble with cell service.

Also, I tried to see if I could sneak another free year of MLB.tv from T-Mobile this year and sadly it did not work this time.  Enjoy all the free baseball you damn T-Mobile users!

Thanks for this, I had no idea about NF and Apple.  I dumped both of those over the past year but I'll pick them back up.  Even if it's the ad tier that's fine if it's free.

I have been floored by how few ads there are on NF TBH. I figured there's be a couple minutes for every half hour or something. I barely even notice them.

Using Betternet Free VPN to watch MLB.TV to hide my location. Living in SE Wisconsin, but blacked out.

Any suggestions on free/reasonably priced VPN's that work in the Chicago/SE Wisconsin area?

Blackout restrictions are so bloody frustrating. Even for away games? Really?

The blackouts aren't to protect the gate, they're to protect the regional sports network.

Just bumping this thread to see if anyone has found a workaround to see the games in Japan. The free T-Mobile mlbtv isn’t available until the 25th this year.

The scores page says the first game is on big Fox and the second game is on FS1.
