Since the Cubs 6-4 start, they have gone 28-52 which is a 56-106 pace over 162 games. And this is before the selloff.

Their record is terrible and they aren't a good team but they are better than a number of cubs teams since 2000.

If you’re 41-55 it’s 1981’s strike-shortened .369.

If you’re 56 or older, the Cubs’ all-time worst record came in 1962 and 1966 - .364.

 

Considering we only have 2 or 3 more weeks of Contreras and Robertson and whomever else they decide to sell off, this has a very good chance of being the worst team in most of our lifetimes and possibly the worst Cubs team of all time.

I acctually don't even think it's close. They've had some really rotten teams in my lifetime. They have zero depth, so the injuries have really taken their toll.
