Steele was supposed to start this weekend, so unless Stroman's also getting pushed back a day I'm thinking he's shifting to the pen. Miley's probably back next week, so I think him plus an opener/Keegan Thompson combo are now replacing Steele and Leiter.

Weather is gross, so obviously this makes sense, but always a little sad to miss out on a Friday 1:20 game, probably my favorite Chicago experience. Hopefully today's the last day of this miserable stretch and we don't have any more of these issues.

Looks like that is going to be the case. About Damn time. This spring has been miserable.

I prefer it to weve had lately but of course it’s going to go straight up to mid to upper 80’s. I need some mid-70s and sunny days for my sanity

I feel like he's hit into some bad luck recently but hopefully Willson starts getting rewarded w more results soon. Good teams that have gotten bad offensive production out of catcher but good pitching results, might not be in a huge rush to give up value for a new starting catcher anyway, unless Contreras is hitting really well.

I get wanting to increase his versatility, but with very little else in the upper parts of the org at 3B I'm not sure why Wisdom is playing LF rather than Villar?

I'd celebrate the high draft pick that's coming, but with the lottery even that is questionable.

How many picks are drawn? At least it gives us a chance at number 1 if the Reds keep up their pace. They haven’t played us yet though so there’s time flip us in the standings

I think the lowest the worst team can draft is #4?

The first 6 picks are drawn.

Cease is smoking Boston today. Every time he pitches I get angry for a few minutes

The thinking behind the trade was fine. The Cubs were supposed to be getting elite numbers from Quintana but he definitely disappointed. It was supposed to work out for both teams but did not.

However, Garland for Karchner was the dumbest trade I've seen. Trading a top prospect for a closer with an ERA above 5 doesn't work

Sox fans never seem to remember the Bell for Sosa trade. It’s like it never existed yet probably the most impactful
