You mean his hit streak in games he starts right? He had a game where he PH and went 0-1

I know the Rays' whole thing is a roster that's greater than the sum of its parts, but man I do not see how this team keeps up with the rest of the AL East this year

I thought he drew a walk and had no official AB that game. If that's not the case, I blame Brett.

I could've done without that video of the Rays shifting right to where Happ hit the ball prior to the final pitch of the AB.

Yeah he was thrown 2 balls and then intentionally walked. A waste of his PA for the game.

But that's still considered a game he played that he did not get a hit, thus the hit streak ends right? That's how I always interpreted it, but I could be wrong.

Apparently it doesn't. This from Baseball-Reference:

The rules regarding hitting streaks count a streak as neither ending nor being increased by one game if the batter doesn't get at least one legitimate chance at a hit, i.e. at least one plate appearance ending in either an at bat or sacrifice fly.

No, it's a plate appearance, but not an official at bat, so it doesn't end the hitting streak.
