That seems like a win with Lonzo. We miss his volume 3 point shooting among plenty of other things.

This will be the FO's narrative when they bring back the same squad

it’s a good team if everyone is healthy and being on the same page as a competent coschbut the odds of that happening in any given season is low

plus it might be good for like next season and maybe one more

the brave thing to do is trade demar and let zach walk I think AK might do it tbh

yeah, i want to trade demar and maybe just blow the whole thing up. i know that sounds reactionary, but i've felt that way for over a month now. at first 45-50 wins and playoffs sounded fun, but now i see how unsatisfying it is. a team built around demar and zach is a dead end.

Blow it up again? With today’s lottery rules?

A team that was in 1st/2nd at the all star break in their first season playing together.

Sheesh.

the fact that they were 1st in the east for a while is not indicative of the quality of this team.

I thought that game was pretty fun although when your expectations are to get slammed maybe that colors the view.

The Bulls missed so many shots that were either good looks (DeMar and Vucevic especially) or right at the rim. Game was there for them.

I’m not ready to blow it up at all. There is a foundation for a good team here, it needs to be tweaked. Swap out Vuc for a different big, acquire another shooter and depth on the bench. You won’t win a title like that but I think the goal is to be competent for long enough to be a viable destination for a star.

Blowing it up and relying on the lottery is probably another 2-4 years in the wilderness, away from NBA relevancy and as we just saw you might end up with absolutely nothing for all that tanking.

Also, this is not news, but Giannis is just a tremendously fun player. This wasn't even that good a game for him but he affects everything whenever he's out there. Gravitational star.

So what are we thinking tonight, another close loss, 20 point blowout, miracle win?

I have to be honest, I completely forgot the Bulls were playing tonight until about an hour ago.

I'm thinking blowout tonight, as the Bucks play better offensively.

I’m hoping the Bulls shoot better than 32% from the field as well. I feel like the Bulls D contributed more to the Bucks shitty offense than the Bucks D contributed to the Bulls shitty offense.... but who knows. It likely won’t matter and we will get blown out tonight. Hoping for an entertaining game, though.

A lot more mental fortitude than we’ve seen from this team this year. Let’s get the W

Now in that zone where the result of this game will bring me strong emotions one way or the other

Heh, Vuc in the postgame Q&A answering "How is it that you guys are defending so much better these past two games?" -- "Well, we just started doing the opposite of everything we did in the regular season."

Sprained MCL for Middleton is what Budenholzer said is the preliminary diagnosis. We can steal this damn series.

We certainly have the momentum and the mental edge right now. Everyone said after game 1 that now the Bucks would wake up. But not only did they not wake up, they lost at home. Now the Bulls know they can win. Not having Middleton and possibly Portis matters but they still have Giannis and the refs so it’s not gonna be easy.

Hard not to love Alex Caruso. He saved the Bulls' bacon at the end when DeRozan was completely spent from being run into the ground by necessity.
