What the hell ESPN+? Was watching the game on my computer, get in bed on my phone and it says its blacked out in my area. A game between Chicago and New York blacked out in Pittsburgh, but apparently only on certain media. Makes no sense.

Bryant steals 2nd but gets dinged by the split-second he might have possibly been not touching the base. That rule needs to get junked (with the requisite caveat that we probably won a playoff series because of it)

Is it bad to think I would have rather had Kimbrel for the 10th? I know that if you use another pitcher in the 9th you may not have a 10th but I don’t trust too many Cubs with a runner on 2nd and 0 outs.

 

Also Kimbrel threw 7 pitches in the 9th, maybe he could have at least started the 10th

If anything, at least play a few "normal" extra innings before putting the runner on. If the game gets to the 13th, then go ahead and put a runner on if you must, but I still hate that we don't get a chance for marathon extra innings games anymore.

I don’t know why people complain about this so much. He was out, and replay showed it. I mean it’s unfortunate and flukey but if he’s out he’s out even if it took super slow mo to prove it because he beat the throw easily.

I’d guess very low. Hard to remove something after it’s in place for a couple of years unless it’s a complete disaster. Most of us will still hate it but will be used to it enough to not throw a big fit about it.
