Oh thank goodness, my hands are still shaking over being told to make this thread

This should be a better rivalry than it is, thought it was taking off a few years ago...Looks like boring pitching matchups this series too, maybe Davies/Peterson is alright

Excited to watch DeGrom shut us down with the effort level of a simulated game, but but that's not really a rivalry thing.

Also I would like to super generously offer 2 free bleacher tickets for this beautiful, snowy, late April night. Just shoot me a message if you feel like getting a cold while watching Javy throw his back out at the plate.

Edit: Sold on Stubhub for a grand total of $7/each. Tomorrow looks pretty similar, so same offer for those.

At this point I'd guess tonight's game actually gets played. I live in Wicker Park, and weather can occasionally be a lot different closer to the lake, but we really didn't get much precipitation this morning. It'll be a miserable 38 degree kind of night, but likely dry enough to play.

Yeah was hoping today and tomorrow got canceled, even if it would likely cost me seeing DeGrom. Maybe we'll get Weird Baseball at least.

Sogard drives in the 2nd run for the Cubs after a close call at second on a J Hay steal. Whoever is the announcer on ESPN is convinced J Hey was out at 2nd.

Bryant was completely out on that weird play. Umps totally screwed that call

Like Boog said, the ump should have made no call if anything, but Alonso did brush the base on the stretch for the ball. No challenge for the Mets, so Cubs got a break.

Luckily, Joc and Javy bat right behind KB right now, so no harm done for the Mets.
