(Brandon Woodruff is really good guys)

Yes but, to appear so feeble and having absolutely no chance in every at bat?

All 9 of them? And that's generously including Hendricks and Wolters.

Tell me who's going to get a hit.

At least three of them I would guess. But maybe I'll be wrong! Strange things can happen in incredibly small sample sizes! For example, see what happened on Monday after going 1-2-3 the first three innings!

This would be a lot less concerning if we didn’t just watch a 60-game season where they hit .220 as a team and scored 1 or 0 runs in 10 of their last 21 games (playoffs included) followed by bringing back basically the exact same group of batters.

Just for fun (or not fun), the Cubs are 39-300 (.129 BA) over their last 10 games played at Wrigley Field and have scored 20 total runs in those 10 games.

This includes:

-The final home series of 2020 against the Twins (12-91 .132, 2 runs)

-The NLWC Sweep by the Marlins (9-62 .145, 1 run)

-The 6 (or 5.4) games to start this season (18-147 .121, 17 runs)

I remember a Mike Krukow complete game with only 64 pitches, with that last pitch, the least Woodruff can throw in a CG is 65 so, there's that...and Woodruff doesn't even come close to how dominant Kerry Wood was on that day in May against an infinitely better hitting team. Edited by gflore34

no no-no

And gave up a legit hit, Happ hit that ball pretty hard.

Right into the shift, but it somehow found a hole. BABIP luck is starting to turn!
