I know conventional wisdom says to go for the 2 and give yourself a chance at the rebound but...

Am I crazy for thinking UCLA should have just gone for a 3 at the buzzer? Gonzaga is the better team, you’ve already made it to OT. The longer the game goes, the more likely Gonzaga is to win.

I totally agree with the sentiment, but I’d say you look for the three then take the two if it’s open. UCLA had this game in regulation, though.

Thoughts on tonight? Gonzaga-4.5. Baylor looked great against a #2 seed while Gonzaga barely escaped an #11 sees. Look ahead line before Saturday's games was -6.5. I think Gonzaga rolls here by 12.

I think Gonzaga will pull away in the 2nd half and win fairly easily. They escaped their nightmare Saturday night.

The Baylor defense is real and if they're hitting their 3's they're nearly unstoppable.

Roy Williams is retiring. Going to be interesting to see the dominoes that fall with that job open.

I'm assuming it'll start with Bill Self to UNC, then Brad Underwood to Kansas, then Porter Moser to Illinois, just like the last time UNC opened up.

They're big on bringing in Tar Heels to coach them so I doubt Self is the guy. Wouldn't surprise me to see them ultimately go with Hubert Davis. He starred for UNC back in the day and he's been Roy's assistant since 2012.

Well lookee here. I actually got something right! Doesn’t happen often so I’m going to enjoy it.

Baylor defense is real = giving up 87?

I don't think it would be a reach to say the seeding wasn't great this year.

Baylor defense is real = giving up 87?

I grew up watching Nolan Richardson basketball. Good defense is harassing your opponent for 40 minutes and wearing them out running the floor.

Advertised as "40 minutes of hell."

horsefeathering Gonzaga. Way to horsefeathers the bed and let those jackasses from Waco cruise to a championship.

Jackasses? Timme would like a word with you.

Oh, he’s a total douche. I’ve posted as much at least once or twice on this thread.

Would have been nice had they at least hit the over. FML

I was not expecting a game that Gonzaga would never really be in. It was 9-0 and then effectively never got any closer.

Baylor sure has come a long way after having one of its players murdered. You love to see a good redemption story, and I absolutely cannot wait to hear stories in about 5 years about how clean their title run was.
