I hate how I have absolutely 0 confidence in Jon.

 

The could be out of this if they just caught the pop up to start the inning. Javy would have just gone straight to first there.

Kipnis was way worse than Javy. Javy was just trying to make a play and was caught between two choices.

Kipnis was worse for sure. Javy was still bad, there wasn’t a “making a play” to get out of the inning. Just get an out with that lead and situation. He wasn’t trying to make a play, he was an idiot there.

the 3 walks weren’t super great either

 

No doubt but he’s probably pitching more aggressively if it’s 1 out and no one on. Or 2 outs and 2 on.
