That change is pretty nasty. The breaking ball seems okay and if he’s 95-97 Adam may be a decent option. At least like him more than Underwood or Winkler.

Maybe we are celebrating the end of this window of contention by reliving the whole window in a 60 game season. Start out winning a ton with great starting pitching and defense with solid hitting, then the pitching and fielding wanes and team makes dumb plays and commits outs on the bases. Offense takes turns slumping leaving gaps in the order making it difficult to score a ton of runs. Still good but can’t shake the feeling of disappointment.

 

I’m mostly kidding, it’s just 3 games after a terrific start. But can’t like what we’ve seen out there this weekend
