The Cubs are 4-1 this year. Last year they started 1-6. I don't know about you guys, but I like 4-1 better.

Fun fact, starting with the 2007 season, the Cubs won the World Series every single year that they won 4 of their first 5 games. That's right, this is only the second time in the last 14 seasons the Cubs have started 4-1. The time before 2016 was 2006 and, well, let's just ignore that and have fun with arbitrary end points. So sit back and enjoy the 2020 World Series Champions*.

Go CUBS!!

*assuming the Marlins don't cause the whole season to be cancelled.

Not sure if it's Ross being better at playing the right players or him following directives from the front office, but i'm pretty sure that with a DH Joe would not have used it to go Willy/Vic at C/DH everyday.

Almora definitely would’ve played more already with the DH

He might have if he'd had the luxury of a third catcher, to be fair. But Ross' lineup management has definitely been A+ so far.

No way Nico nor Happ would have seen their names in the lineup this often with Joe.

Which would have been a shame, since Nico is raking

Obviously KB is sucking ass so bad it will drive down his worth to the range the front office can pay so he can stay in town like he secretly wants
