I agree but I'm assuming that Hinch and Luhnow are going to be blackballed, at least for awhile, because of this. Assuming they were the ringleaders behind this, I would guess any other GMs or managers would at least hesitate before deciding to possible cheat this blatantly in the future.

Alex Cora is the ringleader. Hinch, at least, was just a dude that knew it was going on and didn't stop it. He's got the best chance of moving on successfully from this.

Additionally, this could really harm teams that acquired Astros players post-2017 not knowing about their involvement in the sign stealing scheme.

 

How fair would it be to the White Sox if, say, Dallas Keuchel gets a 50 game ban out of this? It'd be hilarious, but also seriously inequitable.

I love when people are completely clueless and post horseshit that they think makes them appear really intelligent or enlightened or whatever masturbatory fantasy they are aiming for (in this case I'm assuming it's the vision of the perfect marriage) when in fact it proves just the opposite. The sign stealing by the Astros is FACT - is ANYBODY at this point saying it didn't happen? We are WAY past that point.
