So is it safe to assume Astsro's players are going to get buzzed inside a lot more next year, particularly the cocky Bregman - he of the let me carry this bat to first and hand it to my coach fame? Or was the sign stealing pervasive enough around the league where teams are just happy it was the Astros that were caught? I wonder if there were any pitchers who could conceivably have missed service time milestones as a result of getting hammered then released or sent down? Yup in 2017, he finished with 29 and a significant bonus would kick in at 30. Though he did have 6 blown saves that year and it’s not like Mr. BABIP is typically untouchable.
