TBF, who was taking the Bills so seriously? Their defense is legit, they always have good defenses and 2018 and this year's have been better than usual, but they also still have Josh Allen. Allen couldn't hit the ocean if you asked him to BUT he'd miss with high velocity so tools I guess

Seriously in what regard? Nobody, even their fans, think they were a legit SB contender or anything. But they are at 6 wins and have games left against the Dolphins, Broncos, Cowboys, Jets and Steelers. They should get a WC and to 9-10 wins.

As a playoff team at all

Well they should be taken seriously in that regard. That’s just dumb to not think they’re in a decent spot to grab a WC. Especially with Brissett going down. They have a 1 game or better L column lead over everyone chasing them and those teams are the likes of the Steelers, Raiders, Titans and Jags. Not exactly an inspiring group of teams there. And their remaining schedule has wins on it as I laid out.

Best MNF game I’ve seen in awhile.

This has been one of the best regular season weeks in the NFL in a very long time. Lots of great, well-played games.

Yeah, a great finish to it too. Been a long time since MNF made me stay up past my bedtime.

Jimmy G looked like hot garbage in clutch time

Clowney had himself a game and Jimmy didn't like it one bit. I don't watch much 9er football, but i wonder if he's been facing a lot of pressure like that. Probably not. He didn't handle it well.

I was pleased to discover that it's not just the Bears who lose games due kicker problems.

Sam Darnold has a worse grade on PFF than Mitch Trubisky, can you please stop trying to make him happen

He's also on a much less talented team (offensively, anyway).

Leveon Bell Allen Robinson and a bunch of other stuff on both teams.

Robby Anderson's a good WR

Edit: So is Crowder

There's no real explosive pass catcher but Bell/Anderson/Crowder's a solid trio and there's depth with Enunwa and Herndon...mostly I think it comes down to Darnold finishing strong over three months rather just one like last year. Guy's got a good 120 years after he retires in 2050 to get mono again if you know what I mean wink wink nudge nudge so hopefully he keeps that in mind

...are you Tim Andercust?

Could do without the whining in this tweet but Sam Darnold's a beast:

Jay Cutler dropped dimes like that all the time (and played with many bad OLines so got the opportunity a lot). Yet he was just an average QB because he wasn't consistent and could as easy throw up multi turnover games, including 4, 5 pick games.

Jay had 12 3+ INT games in 153 career starts. 7% of his starts! Sam has 4 such games through 19 starts. 22%! Jay threw 160 INT. 1.045 per game. Sam has thrown 24. 1.29 per game.

Here's some really QBs who can/could also throw the occasional dimes and the rate at which they had 3+ INT games

Mahomes 1/25

Rodgers 4/175

Brady 8/278

P. Manning 20/266

Brees 18/268

Take it down a caliber

Rivers 11/222

Roethlisberger 13/218

Ryan 10/182

Stafford 12/149

Historical comparisons?

Favre (the gunslinger in a era of more ints) 39/302

On Sam's side is his youth and that he can perhaps escape from the career death trap that is the NYJ (and I say that cuz I know what one looks like as a Bears fan) . Then perhaps he can be more average like Eli Manning who still loved throwing pics and was very very average, but won a couple SB!

I legit liked Jay Cutler but clearly Sammy's his genetic superior as a man without diabetes

Yes, the guy who missed a quarter of the season with the kissing disease is genetically superior
