It is on Fox, but it starts at 6:15.

Damn west coast people. Still seems strange theres a Thursday night game on FOX. Guessing this is a special end of season thing they do.

Last home night game of the year, lets get a W

Think it's just a replacement for a Saturday game this week, because there isn't one of those on FOX.

Nats off today and then a series with the Marlins. So while we play the Cards, the other teams we need to lose play the Marlins, Padres, and then Pirates. Grrrreat.

We just lost 4 of 7 to the horsefeathering Reds and Padres. We have nothing to complain about.

The pessimist in me hates this stat, because I know it's going to end at the worst possible time.

Hello, welcome to the worst possible time.

DOES ANYONE WATCHING THE CUBS REMEMBER LAUGHTER?!?

You joke, but it just so happens I scrolled through most of the Game 7 thread earlier today. It was very therapeutic, not just because of the end but because of how sincere the excitement was at all the small things that happened along the way. We've talked about this before, but I've definitely lost some of that as the team being super successful has moved from hope to expectation.

Weird, for me the success in 2016 was expected, and that has completely vanished the past two years.

And then next week we play the Pirates while the Nats play 5 games in 4 days, the Brewers play the Reds (facing Castillo and Bauer) and the Cards play in Arizona.

I just want this to be over. Bring on the offseason.*

*Even though I think they largely do margin moves and roll with the core again next year. Don’t think the big shakeup move is happening, they’ll just try and build a more well rounded roster.

Not to mention that no one will sign until February

Castellanos, especially, seems like the classic case of a guy who signs like 2 weeks before Spring Training. If he’s shooting for 5+ years and $100+ million he’s going to be hanging around for a while.
