Edmonton and Toronto are the two hub cities

Surely that means the Hawks series will be played in Edmonton, meaning it will be similar to having home ice for the Oilers

Thought I remembered reading something a while ago about how no team would play in their own city to avoid something like this (and even playing into why they needed more than one city). Things are changing all the time, so that could definitely not be the case, but I think if those are the two cities, we'd be playing in Toronto.

Hawks and the Western teams to play in Edmonton. I don't think it will be a big deal without fans

I don’t think it will be a huge deal but there is comfort and familiarity playing at the stadium you play at 40+ times a year, not to mention they are used to the ice conditions and how the boards play etc. Plus even if they are in a bubble, they are still in their home city.

Again it’s not a huge deal but it is a slight advantage for the Oilers.

Not as big of an advantage as getting to play the Blackhawks.

In any other situation after like, 2016, not having Crawford has pretty much been a death sentence (if they weren't already dead with him). With this coin flip of a playoff, who knows. Probably 45/55 against the Oilers...any longer series after that is going to tilt pretty heavily against a Crawford-less Hawks.

If the following was true, this Flood guy is a dummy and NBC is gonna end up settling with JR.

Roenick also claims that Flood told him Weir “Is gay and can say whatever” when he tried to draw parallels

There's enough other differences that this would be frivelous otherwise. Of course I could also totally see Roenick basically making that up in his head.

The Blackhawks are playing right now, in a game that matters, and Chelsea Dagger plays when they score in Edmonton!

Also I forgot how much I wanted the Blackhawks to beat Mike Smith from that playoff series some years back.

Blackhawks have scored more goals in the first period here than in their entire last playoff series in 2017.
