I’ve hit that state where they’ve pissed me off enough that I am no longer living or dying with their performance and it’s pretty nice. And, given the current state of things and their upcoming schedule, it should make the rest of the season pretty fun regardless.

Basically, I hope they come together and get to any sort of playoff spot but if not I won’t be mad anymore.

Pretty well sums me up, too. If they make the playoffs I’ll be back to living and dying on each game.

I've grown accustomed to believing they're going to make the playoffs every time they win and believing they won't every time they lose. It's been that way for more than a month.

I haven't lost any sleep over it, which is more than I can say about the past four seasons.

Weirdly, last years team while objectively better by any standard, made me way more angry than this years. I guess my expectations were lower this year anyway.

The death march of last year was way more brutal, they couldn’t score more than 1 run for like 30 straight games. At least this team will spice it up with 17 runs before going 5 games in a row to lose to the Padres or whatever

I know it has everything to do with how effective they are as pitchers at this stage of their careers but it’s amazing how Jon Lester is basically guaranteed to give up first innings runs and Hendricks almost always goes 1-2-3.

Wow, that’s literally the worst call of all time.

Shortest replay review ever.
