7/14 Cubs (Quintana) vs Pirates (Williams) 1:20 ABC7

So the Cubs got good pitching and good hitting on the same day? I wasn't aware they were allowed to do that. You see something new in baseball every day I guess.

 

I believe this is the first time the Cubs have won a series since sometime in 2018 (at least that's how it seems) and while that's nice, getting a sweep to start the second half would be even better. Get it done, jerks.

I'm cool with this. Even though they're being much smarter with him than last year, he's still got the 3rd most innings caught in the league, extra rest can't hurt.
