Welp, the Cubs can't be much more overrated than after a game they just won, so I'll keep the overrated PTA vehicle going.

 

I would like to announce that I have quit the Cubs.

 

 

It is so freeing and refreshing to let go and not care. And that feeling will make watching this game more enjoyable. I suggest everyone try it.

Haha. Awesome. I just went on IMDB and saw that PTA directed Coffee and Cigarettes and assumed it was, you know, that movie. Only the best game thread for our Cubs!

Yeah, Punch Drunk Love was lame. He's a good director so his movies aren't "bad," but sometimes he just lets me down. I did enjoy Inherent Vice, though.

Too lazy to link the lineup and don't remember the order, but Zobrist day off, Zagunis in right, Almora in center (Heyward off). Skaggs is much better against lefties than righties, but it seems like almost all of that difference is that his walk rate spikes against righties, so that doesn't do Almora any good.

The only other time Pujols has come to Wrigley after leaving the Cardinals he went 3-5, 2 HR, 5 RBI and 3 BB in 3 games. Of course that was 6 years ago, but he already sucked back then.
