all i got from this is it seems like it's gonna be a long horsefeathering time before the bears are slated to play in vegas

Would be fun to play the raiders at whatever temporary home they are apparently going to play at next year after the Oakland lawsuit

I'm hoping they are in San Diego and they play the Raiders in San Diego. There is a huge Raiders following here.

Oh, and it would be kind of cool to see the Chargers be a visiting team at San Diego to play the Raiders.

This is a really important game for Mitch. I've been pretty unconcerned about his dud games this year. And honestly, the games he's looked the worst (IMO) the Bears have either won or lost because they blew a 23-3 lead in the 4th quarter.

But at this point in the season, they probably aren't winning games that he's not good. I think this week will go a long way to determining if this team will have to Grossman its way thru the playoffs or if they have a legit shot to do some damage.

The other times Mitch has had national media and Bears fans alike wondering if he was the guy, he came out with the dominant performances against Tampa, Miami, Detroit. After his previous dud, he missed 2 games. So, how he performs in a clinch situation will go a long way to helping ease some of the concerns I personally have with him.

I think we've seen a lot of growth from Mitch throughout the season. The games against the Rams didn't show that, but I see it in a specific way:

1. When Mitch is playing with instincts/knowing the play/knowing the read, he performs well (first read is best, but that's probably true for many qb's)

2. When Mitch is overthinking/unsure of the defense/forced to go through his read progressions, he performs poorly.

What percentage of plays fit description 1 versus description 2? Throughout the season this percentage has increased steadily. His results on type 2 are still interceptions; a team playing him tough will increase type 2 throws.

I always hated the Good Rex/Bad Rex binary view, and I realize this is essentially that, but over this season I think we've seen progress. Hopefully we see that against GB and beyond. Teams will certainly identify these obvious weaknesses and scheme towards them, so Nagy/Helfrich/Ragone have a clear task at hand.

I'm looking forward to Sunday to see what happens.

I cannot wait for this game to kick off. I hope the Bears stomp a mud hole in the hearts of the entire Packers franchise. I want to win by 40 and end the season of Danica’s bitch. Today signals the end of GB’s domination and the beginning of a long run for the Bears.
