the brewers had a red hot finish because they played a bunch of shitty, non-trying teams as half of baseball is actively trying to lose. cubs played many of those same shitty, non-trying teams.

 

also the brewers whipped the cubs’ ass head to head.

 

brewers played out of their minds for a month but if you end the season losing 4/7 at home to pirates and cardinals, it’s partially on you.
