well, they talked about the need to treat him differently than typical relievers and not pitch him in back to back situations and then Joe went out and pitched him in back to back situations multiple times the first month of the season. And I know there was at least one time when he had him warming for what would have been three consecutive days.

 

He was probably always destined for injury, but Joe didn't use him like a guy you were trying to keep healthy.
