AND much like Doc seemingly getting blown away by the terrorists, the Cubs are gonna sit up to reveal they've got a bulletproof vest on and the Brewers will crash into a photobooth and inexplicably just go away.

Florence is now a cat 4 hurricane. It's going to at least drop a steady rain all day Thursday, potentially heavy rain and/or wind.

The Nats are on a road trip all week, going from PHI to ATL. We're talking about flying two teams into a hurricane or tropical storm zone, playing a game in a downpour, then trying to fly them out in possibly dangerous conditions so they don't have to miss their next games.

Not going to happen. I don't know what they are going to do, but there won't be a baseball game in DC on Thursday.

I think Cubs twitter is going a little crazy about this weather situation. The hurricane will be well off the coast of NC thursday. It's going to be okay during the day on thursday in DC. The game should get in relatively easily.

Since we're talking thursday in here, I wasn't really following the Games on Saturday and Sunday, but I checked Twitter when my phone told me that they were moving the game to Thursday because I didn't think that should be a thing that could happen, and people were freaking out that we'd get Scherzer again. And than Martinez said they were going to not skip anybody and go Fedde, Roark, Starsburg for their next series, which people took as confirmation that it would be Scherzer Thrusday... but wouldn't that mean it would be Ross?

Miley's official photo looks so much like a DUI mugshot its hard to believe he doesn't end up a Cardinal at some point

They haven’t said either way but I would assume we’d get Ross. Right now Scherzer is set to pitch the on Tuesday the last week of the year which would allow him to go the final Sunday if he thinks another good start could help him in the Cy Young race. So he doesn’t need to move up a day to get that extra start in. And if they move him up, the only matchup that changes would be going from home vs Mets to at Miami.
