I've lived and died with this team for literally my entire life since I was old enough to know what baseball was. Suffered through 84 and 03 and everything else. Cried like a baby when we won the WS. But this? If it's true, that may be the straw that broke the camel's back for me. It really does feel like winning the WS was some sort of pact with the devil.

 

I didn't think anything could ever make me stop being a Cub fan at this point. But Sinclair? That might just do it.

I think I'm still more grossed out by the Russelll situation, but the fact that there's a second comparably upsetting thing occurring in the same horsefeathering offseason is really tough to swallow.

As gross as the Addy thing is, for me this is worse. Sinclair is an abomination to objective journalism, irrespective of your personal politics. TheyI'e actively doing serious damage to our country every day.

 

I don't suspect Theo will walk away from all this - he's making a tremendous amount of money. But he has to be pretty pissed off with the current state of affairs, I would imagine.

Yeah, if that rumor is true then I’m cancelling MLB.tv. I was already thinking about how many games I get thru Youtube TV( national + cardinals + MLBN simulcasts is like 50 games i think), and this would make it a real easy choice.

Buy a popular baseball team in a liberal city and use it to launch a conservative propaganda network that liberals will have to watch if they want to see their team.

I already cancelled when MLB donated to the racist senator from whichever racist state
