Pitchers who can't throw a damn strike consistently have always bothered me far more than just about anything else in an athlete.

It's also a little more magnified now that his suckiness is actually hurting us as opposed to just taking us up a level of crappiness like Jackson did.

Yeah same, I’m incredibly annoyed but have some reason to believe this silly historic walk nonsense will go away a bit. His stuff seems mostly fine too, not like his velo or movement is down and he’s wild. Literally just need the guy to go walking like 4.5 guys per 9.

I just feel bad for the interns he’s probably forcing to binge eat/drink, throw things at and hit golf balls at

Rats, I missed a Justin Wilson appearance.

Damn I bet watching Wilson pitch in the same game as Chatwood makes him look like Greg Maddux

Watching the NBA game. Don't bother informing me when the VBs and VCs each win by 1.

cubs: good in theory

brewers: good in real life

VBs suck.

fangraphs will still have them projected for like 82 wins on the day they win their 90th

I think I figured out the problem, I had Chatwood in a fantasy league (I know stupid me for still having him). I just dropped him on the spot and didn't even pick anyone up. So we should be good to go and firing on all cylinders to not walk the world the rest of the year.

https://deadspin.com/trevor-bauer-wrote-bd-911-on-the-mound-before-his-sta-1826247141

Trevor Bauer, the Indians pitcher who loves both funny numbers and casually suggesting conspiracy theories, wrote “BD 911” on the back of the pitching mound before the first pitch of his start against the Cubs. Here’s video of him carving with his cleats in the dirt, then appearing to admire his work.

The meaning of “BD 911” is, of course, ambiguous, but “Bush Did 9/11” is most everybody’s first guess. Bauer will almost definitely be asked about his message after the game, and we’ll update with his answer.

Update (10:58 p.m. ET): Bauer says that he actually wrote “BD 91.1” on the mound, and denies any association with 9/11. He didn’t elaborate on the meaning of the message, but says it’s “a personal thing of importance” to him.

I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate that the Cubs have been owned twice by this dork this season.
