Going to be fun rooting for the Cardinals next week against the Brewers.

 

On a related note, since I have no faith in the Rockies winning enough to beat the Cards out for the second wild card, we should probably be rooting for the Rockies to lose right? Best case for us (assuming the Cards are going to make it) is the Cards win enough to have the second wild card locked up by the last series but they have no chance at the first wild card or division going into the last series. Then they'd have no incentive to try against us, especially on Sat and Sun so they can have people rested for the WC game on Tuesday.

So it sounds like Jennings is starting the game just to face the salsa king then they are pulling him and bringing in a new pitcher to face the 2nd batter, I know Ace Chanderson sucks but this seems like way over doing it on the bullpening and if this is the route to go why not just start Hader for ~3 innings?
