Jim Mora fired.

Kevin Sumln is their next coach

Doubt it. They'll swing for the fences at someone like Chip Kelly, and then when they miss, they'll go for someone who is much cheaper than Sumlin will be.

Well Sumlin’s about to be fired, so he’s definitely going to be cheaper than he normally would. Bet they could afford him.

Clay Travis:

1. I’m told Texas A&M and Kevin Sumlin have a fundamentally broken relationship and Sumlin will be leaving no matter what happens against LSU. Sumlin will likely have several suitors in major college football before all is said and done.

2. Jimbo Fisher to Texas A&M is likely to happen.

3. Gus Malzahn to Arkansas is likely if Auburn loses to Alabama this weekend. But if Malzahn wins the Iron Bowl and then also wins the SEC title game then Arkansas wouldn’t wait for him.

4. The Vols are still hoping Jon Gruden is their next coach, but Dan Mullen is their back up plan.

5. Chip Kelly has to decide between UCLA and Florida and no one knows for sure what he’s going to decide, but if he picks Florida then Kevin Sumlin to UCLA is a very real possibility.

So ya, your next Tennessee coach is Dan Mullen. The fact that people think Gruden will coach college for the first time since 1991 is laughable. Dude makes ridiculous amounts of money to chill out and call 16 games a year or whatever.

Second that. I really, really don’t think Malzhan is going to get an offer from Arkansas. It’s Norvell all the way.

Not sticking up for Clay Travis but he's accurate on the Jimbo Fisher to A&M angle. It's obviously not 100% but at this point I'll be surprised if it doesn't happen based on the people I hear from. They normally are very noncommittal on coaching searches but not this time.

Hardly shocking, but it’s official that Sumlin is fired. They are letting him coach the final game against LSU.

He will be fired but it is not "official" yet.

I’ll probably get all of these wrong, but my predictions:

- Mullen to TN

- Jeremy Pruitt to MS State

- Jimbo to A&M

- Kelly to Florida

Auburn wins Iron Bowl:

- Norvell to Arkansas

Auburn loses Iron Bowl:

- Malzahn to Arkansas

- Venables to Auburn

Ole Miss gets one year bowl ban:

- Taggart to Ole Miss

Ole Miss gets two year bowl ban:

- Neal Brown to Ole Miss

Look forward to the committee bumping Mississippi State up another couple of spots for that close loss.

Bama will probably beat Auburn, but their resume is pretty unimpressive at the moment.

I think Auburn pulls it out.

And then Alabama “Ohio State”s their way into the playoff as a one-loss non-champion
