'05 White Sox prepare the champagne

For what?

the Dodgers not getting an 11-1 postseason

edit: i'm a great jinx

One of the Reds teams from the 70s went undefeated in the playoffs, didn't they?

Yeah, '76 Reds went 7-0.

Sucks a little that one of the two guys I like on the Dodgers is losing this but I'll take it

He’ll probably be “hurt” and off the roster by Friday’s game

Yanking Hill after 4 innings is odd. I get that the Astros have a bunch of righties but Hill's a good pitcher. This isn't some 4.5 ERA guy you're throwing out there hoping he gets two times through the order.

Putting Stripling in to start the 7th and yanking him after he walks one batter is a questionable decision also. If you're going to yank him after one batter, just put Morrow in to begin with. They're both righties so it's not like you're bringing in a lefty to face one lefty batter.

Yeah, obvious it’s a bit of Monday morning quarterbacking since we know the results but def some questionable moves by the “tactical master.” Most of them I can see the logic but the Stripling/Morrow thing seemed bad and overthinking the Hill thing a bit, like you said 5 righties due up and 5th time through, but he’s no slouch and probably should let him stay out there with Maeda ready.
