Yanking Hill after 4 innings is odd. I get that the Astros have a bunch of righties but Hill's a good pitcher. This isn't some 4.5 ERA guy you're throwing out there hoping he gets two times through the order.

Putting Stripling in to start the 7th and yanking him after he walks one batter is a questionable decision also. If you're going to yank him after one batter, just put Morrow in to begin with. They're both righties so it's not like you're bringing in a lefty to face one lefty batter.

I can't stand giving relievers a one batter rope and Roberts did it twice. You don't need to bring every good reliever into a dirty inning.

Through the first 9 playoff games this year, the Dodgers have done exactly the same thing last year's Indians did:

You might have forgotten, but Cleveland blew a 3-1 lead.

Still following the Cleveland model:

Most importantly, I want the Dodgers to lose the Series but maximum heartbreak is ideal.

was anyone else shocked to find out that the astros had never won a single WS game before that? they've been a team for a half century, i just assumed they'd won a world series before.

I take issue with this headline:

The Astros won the wildest World Series game in recent memory

https://www.sbnation.com/2017/10/26/16551210/2017-world-series-dodgers-astros-game-2

I mean, unless "recent memory" means "the last 2 WS games."

I agree with you in a vacuum, but this is pretty compelling support for his case:

The end result was that the Dodgers and Astros combined for more home runs than in any other World Series game in history. They hit more homers in extra innings than any other team had ever done, including postseason. And they both needed baseballs to hit caps or umpires to win. Nothing about Game 2 made sense, even after you concede that the sport can be a little weird. This whole mess was beyond weird.

I thought it was pretty common knowledge that the Astros had never been to a WS before they got swept by the Sox. but I guess that has been a half generation ago already

Twice ESPN has completely forgotten about the White Sox winning the World Series. CBS Sports overlooked it one time, too. Pretty funny!
