There's been very little drama outside of Turner's walk-off blast. Although Puig's bat flips continue to amaze.

 

At this point in the Cubs 2016 run, we had the Javy blast into the wind, games 3 and 4 NLDS madness, Montero game 1 GS, and getting shut out three times. Cubs certainly kept it interesting.

BTW, today is the 1 year anniversary of Game 1. What a shitty game that was, but amazing to see the Cubs play a WS game for the first time in most of our lives.

Absolutely agree...but also, in retrospect, it's great to look back on all the huge, exciting, stressful moments from last year.

It reminds me of the White Sox run in 05. Not very many close games or big moments just dominant pitching and timely offense.

But the game was only 2 1/2 hours last night I thought shorter games meant more people would watch?!?
