It’s clear that this isn’t just a blip or a random streak in the middle of a terrible season.

I’m not saying they are actually good or are going to make the playoffs. Perhaps but probably not. But the days of being a 3-20 quality team are gone.

I hate GARPAX as much as anyone but this Bulls team is fun as hell to watch. I can't believe I'm saying that; and they could actually get better when Levine suits up!

Bulls are winning too much now! Stop it! You need to tank hard and get those well-deserved L's.

I guess maybe Mirotic has improved his stock enough to get something at the NBA trade deadline (protected 1st-round pick?). His salary is pretty reasonable and he has an affordable option for next year too.

And he can veto any trade.

I haven't actually watched any of this streak, but at some point don't you have to accept the plan accidentally became mid lotto pick + free agency + consolidation trade in the future?

Bulls are now 9-8 against the East, which is kind of hilarious.

Also, even with this 7 game winning streak, the Bulls still have the worst point differential in the conference overall.

You know I gotta admit it took me a little while for this to register in my head lol.

Me: "Oh, that one cool scene from Saving Private Ryan" ..."Wait, why is Niko's face on -- oh okay, I get it now".

I still have him being traded for a 2nd in January. They're fun to watch, I'm expecting them to lose their next 2.

They'll be good enough to play themselves out of a top 3 pick.

that's a decent list to be on

That list is full of free agents next offseason and one of them is even realistically attainable for the Bulls too.... just saying.

Dunn looks really solid. At this point, I'd say he's shown enough to be part of the "core". The trade with Minny was a damn good one.

You don't reset to just go right back to being a .500ish team though. You've got to move Lopez and Niko, get Lauri his 32 minutes a game, which isn't going to happen while Niko is here.

Obviously, its fun watching this unfold, but its still extremely likely an aberration and is just costing us Ayton or Bagley. They need to start moving guys soon or this is going to wind up a 30-35 win team that picks 7-10.

I know Niko isn't the youngest guy, but he is still just under 27 and in his 4th year. Now no one should expect him to continue to be a 26 PER player, but if he is even 80% of that, that's a pretty damn good player to hold onto and not totally put of the question from a development perspective.

Does that count as a tank W?

horsefeathers if I know. Its hard not to pull for them to win, this horsefeathers IS fun. Longterm, we need losses. But, this streak has been fun too. So, who knows?

I am kind of sad to see the tank W. Even if its good.

And like clockwork, he's 1-9 in the first half against Boston lol.

That being said, it's pretty horsefeathering awesome that him and Lauri definitely look like longterm starters and we've not even seen the lead piece in the Jimmy trade step on the court yet.

We now resume your previously scheduled tank

Honestly, its Boston. They're horsefeathering good. I don't think this Bulls team is winning under 25 games, maybe not even 30.

I hope they trade Lopez and Holliday. I guess Niko too? Not even sure what I truly want there. But, LaVine coming back is going to cancel out any personnel losses, via trade. If they stay healthy, I suspect 25-30 wins and a finish outside the bottom 5.
