PFF has the Bears as the 3rd best defense in the league so far

3. CHICAGO BEARS

BEST-GRADED STARTER: Adrian Amos, S, 87.7

WORST-GRADED: Quintin Demps, S, 43.4

No unit has improved like the Chicago Bears have on defense. It still has some issues, but it has been undermined by their offense more than most teams, not to mention injuries. They have some impressive grades in coverage across the entire back seven, while the defensive front has been very stout against the run, even if the pass-rush remains a concern.

Their site kinda sucks for navigation (at least when drunk).

You can respond in the other thread if it will cause controversy, but I'm honestly curious. Where do they rate the run game?

why would a game between two NFC teams be on CBS? did they do away with conference/network alignment and I didn't notice?

Not exactly. The past couple years they've had flexibility involving a couple games each season switching away team affiliation.

Yeah, it's terrible. Great great player but he really should quit and hope it's already not too late for his brain.

No, I'm not giving away their stuff for free.

But I will include this segment in the spoiler:

“Eddie’s a solid force in the running game,” Vic Fangio said.

The Athletic's content is pretty stellar. I really enjoy their writers, especially Cubs coverage.

But, in summary of the article: Eddie Goldman is good
