When Trubisky ever does start, no one will notice because the Bears do not deserve prime time national games and Bears fans will have given up waiting.

Can someone give me a reason why throwing Mitch in there would hurt his development? I get the risk of injury but if he struggles because his WRs suck is that going to really hurt him? Is it going to hurt his confidence or something? He seems like a dude who is pretty sure of himself. Is he going to develop bad habits? That's what the coaching staff is for.

There's a halfway decent chance he starts next Monday night.

 

And whenever he does start, Bears fans will flock to the stadium and the TV. But it will only take 2-3 disappointing games for all hope to be lost.

I had a pretty long post about it in last week's game thread. I think the bad habit thing is the only one that carried any validity, but for various reasons I am not worried about with Trubisky (but would worry for instance with DeShaun Watson right now).

He's going to be on MNF (against a Cubs home playoff game I'm pretty sure)
