It might have been a mistake to leave Lackey in the game after beaning 3 batters in an inning, but at least he got to bat with a runner in scoring position.

Sometimes you have to gamble on getting an extra inning, this is the 5th of 20 consecutive games and the pen through 4.2 innings yesterday. Lackey wasn't exhausted and 7-8-9 were due up.

it's not that i want flags for other pennants

 

it's that there shouldn't be one up with the WS banners for any of them. have the flags on the roofs for those. i know they just wanted symmetry (2 poles on each side) so whatever.
