So I don't see Brent Rooker going in the first in any of these mock drafts. Wonder how often it has happened that the (likely) Golden Spikes winner doesn't go in the first round (either that year or the subsequent year)

He's actually been rumored to go to the Cubs with one of their first rounders as a signability pick.

I absolutely love the draft. But, we're 95 minutes in and have made 14 horsefeathering picks, with a 4 minute limit on picks. Seriously, WTF Manfred?

the length of time between the 2nd and 3rd picks was so hilariously long that i stopped following after that.

gotta speed up the pace of draft.

Interesting. Kid can absolutely mash. .387/.495/.810 (1st in NCAA), 23 HR, 30 doubles (1st in NCAA), 82 RBI (1st in NCAA). Seems like it would be in line with the philosophy we've employed with our last few first rounders.

Wow, got to think at least one team here in the 15-20 got at least a #2 starter between Bukauskas, Schmidt, Faedo and Peterson.

Guess Tristan Beck is the last college arm I'm super intrigued in.

I wonder if N. Pearson might make it to the Cubs now. That'd be awesome. N. Allen and N. Pearson would be a good combination for our two picks. Edited by Regular Show

Somehow as soon as I saw the name "Mackenzie Gore" i knew that he was a LHP. He's real lucky he's awesome at baseball or that first name woulda been hell to live with through school.

Is Jeren Kendall going to fall to 27?

Maybe the Red Sox take him? I believe they drafted him out of HS and really loved him back then. I could totally see him falling to 27.

Zero interest. If his swing and miss issues are that bad in college, god help him as he advances in the minors.

His older age and questions about his power in the pros of he's stuck at 1B or LF. Since he's reduced his Ks, I do think his hit tool is underrated by the online scouting agencies.

Dodgers, I'd guess. (Though they love Bubba Thompson, supposedly.)

You're right, I just figured if Thompson was there, they were a lock for him.

Now, I kind of want Thompson lol

Agreed on the last sentence.
