Scheels was a madhouse today huh? Walked in around 4:30 and people were all over the Cubs stuff. People everywhere. Left around 6:30 and it was still the same thing. Was really cool to see actually. MLB is going to make a killing off of this Cubs title.

After the game I was up at 2am buying stuff. Ended up with the 3 tickets / coin frame; baseball; 3 t-shirts, hat, and Jon Lester jersey. Was time to replace the cub t-shirt rotation anyway and this post season has certainly done that!

 

 

I bought everything on fanatics.com -- great for the big and tall (aka FAT) guys like me. Tons of options.

They've drafted a horsefeathers load of pitchers every year since they've been here, probably 2 or 3 to 1 over the bats if I had to take a rough guess.

I joined the masses today (retailed it) for the first time since it happened and saw so many people wearing championship gear. it helped reaffirm my belief that I will never get sick of seeing it

 

also, I have struck out on that hat at every retailer in the area that I have either visited or called. I'm hoping another wave hits us soon because I decided I want that for my dad for Christmas
