If the lead gets any bigger you have to considering pulling Heyward and or Baez for offense. Bring in Contreras and or Coghlan. No horsefeathering around with auto outs

When I started posting this, I wasn't serious at all, but now I'm wondering if it's so crazy that it may actually work. How about putting Schwarber in deep CF and tell him not to move, then play Fowler and Heyward in Left-Center and Right-Center. Yeah, I know it's stupid and over reactionary, but we've seen crazy things from Joe before.

Anything down the line would be at least a triple

Bauer with a better AB than any cub not named rizzo and Zobrist right now.

How about the guy who got a solid single up the middle?

My bad. Left out another all star who isn't getting outhit by an AL pitcher with a severed finger.

Baseball is happening. We are in a slump and cleveland has good pitchers. This is a stupid sport.

Why the hell can't a team as good as the Cubs make other teams look completely hopeless? We're eight games better than the Indians and they haven't broken a sweat the entire playoffs. In all three series, the Cubs have struggled in certain portions.

(The answer is baseball).

Have the indians really faced as many tought pitchers as we have?

Definitely not. Boston and Toronto didn't get where they were because of great starting pitching.

Right - Cleveland have had to face the top three of the top five offenses in baseball, though.

Oh for sure, just different animals both teams had to get through.

Since we got home we've had horrible at bats. Even game one we worked the count a bit and had runners. Just one more time I wanna watch the 2016 cubs grind a pitcher to death.
