I mean you can see the path to victory. Tomlin shut us down but on short rest. Even if Jake isn't at his best I still feel pretty good about chances of winning that one. Then we get our 3rd look at Kluber, with his 3rd start in 9 days against a well rested ERA leader in Hendricks.

Proud that even though the odds are stacked against them they responded exactly the way they have all season and made this a respectable series no matter what.

Exactly. To say Javy is worthless is to not recognize that he very well could have helped save this game tonight with that tag of Lindor. It sucks to see him suck at the plate, but he ain't worthless.

Id rather have Chapman in a 1 run game than any other reliever in a 2 run game, let alone the 30% chance we drive in that run to make it a 2 run game.

yeah, he looked exactly like hendricks in that start against us. He was amazing. I think we can get to him though on such short rest. I hope.

No. He's had a good month. Prior to that, he'd given up 34 earned runs in 26.2 August innings.
